Cancellation Policy

Worldwide Academia International Research Journal (WAIRJ) has established the following Cancellation Policy to ensure clarity and fairness for authors regarding manuscript withdrawal and payment-related cancellations.

1. Manuscript Withdrawal Before Review
Authors may request withdrawal of their manuscript at any time before the review process has been initiated by submitting a written request to editor@worldwideacademia.in.

2. Manuscript Withdrawal During Review
If an author wishes to withdraw a manuscript after the review process has started, they must inform the editorial team immediately with valid reasons. WAIRJ reserves the right to charge applicable processing fees already incurred, if any.

3. Manuscript Withdrawal After Acceptance
Withdrawal requests after a manuscript has been accepted for publication are strongly discouraged, as significant editorial, review, and formatting resources have already been utilized. Such requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and may not be entertained if the publication charges have already been processed.

4. Publication Charges and Cancellation

  • If a manuscript is withdrawn before the review process begins, [X]% of the publication charges (if already paid) may be refunded.
  • If a manuscript is withdrawn during the review process, [X]% of the publication charges may be refunded, after deducting processing/review costs.
  • If a manuscript is withdrawn after acceptance or final publication, no refund will be provided, as the article has already been processed, formatted, and/or published.

5. Rejection by the Journal
If a manuscript is rejected by WAIRJ during the editorial screening or peer-review process, and publication charges were paid in advance, the full amount (or applicable portion, as per policy) will be refunded to the author.

6. Duplicate Payments
In case of accidental duplicate payment for the same manuscript, the excess amount will be refunded to the author upon verification.

7. Refund Process and Timeline
Approved refunds will be processed within [X] working days from the date of approval, through the same payment method used by the author, unless otherwise agreed.

8. Non-Refundable Circumstances
No refund will be provided in cases of:

  • Plagiarism or ethical violations identified in the manuscript
  • Withdrawal after final publication
  • Providing false or misleading information during submission

9. How to Request Cancellation/Refund
Authors must send a written request, including the manuscript ID and reason for cancellation, to editor@worldwideacademia.in.
