Ethics Policy

Worldwide Academia International Research Journal (WAIRJ) is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and research integrity. All authors, reviewers, and editors associated with WAIRJ are expected to adhere to the following ethical guidelines.

1. Research Ethics
Research involving human participants, animals, or sensitive data must be conducted in accordance with applicable ethical standards and guidelines. Where required, authors must confirm that necessary approval has been obtained from an appropriate institutional ethics committee or review board prior to conducting the research.

2. Informed Consent
Where research involves human participants, authors must ensure that informed consent was obtained from all participants (or their legal guardians), and that participants' privacy and confidentiality have been protected.

3. Data Integrity
Authors must present accurate, honest, and complete research data. Fabrication, falsification, or selective/manipulated reporting of data or results is strictly prohibited and constitutes a serious ethical violation.

4. Authorship Ethics
All listed authors must have made a genuine and significant contribution to the research and/or manuscript preparation. Ghost authorship, guest authorship, and denial of due credit to contributing authors are not permitted.

5. Conflict of Interest
Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any financial, personal, professional, or institutional relationships that could be perceived as influencing the research, review, or editorial decision.

6. Originality and Plagiarism
Authors must ensure their work is original and properly cites the contributions of others. Plagiarism in any form is considered a serious ethical breach (see Plagiarism Policy for details).

7. Duplicate Submission and Publication
Manuscripts must not be submitted simultaneously to multiple journals, nor should previously published work be resubmitted as original without proper disclosure.

8. Editorial and Reviewer Responsibilities
Editors and reviewers must evaluate manuscripts fairly, objectively, and confidentially, without bias based on the authors' race, gender, religion, nationality, or institutional affiliation. Reviewers must not use unpublished information from submitted manuscripts for personal advantage.

9. Handling Ethical Violations
If an ethical violation is identified — before or after publication — WAIRJ reserves the right to reject the manuscript, retract a published article, notify the author's institution, or take other appropriate corrective action.

10. Reporting Concerns
Any concerns regarding research or publication ethics may be reported to the editorial team at editor@worldwideacademia.in for review and appropriate action.
