Refund Policy

Worldwide Academia International Research Journal (WAIRJ) has established the following Refund Policy to ensure transparency regarding publication charges paid by authors.

1. Refund Eligibility
Refunds are considered only under specific circumstances outlined in this policy. Authors are advised to read this policy carefully before making any payment toward publication charges.

2. Manuscript Rejected by the Journal
If a manuscript is rejected during the editorial screening or peer-review process after payment has been made, the full publication charge (or applicable portion, as per journal discretion) will be refunded to the author within the stipulated timeframe.

3. Manuscript Withdrawn Before Review
If an author withdraws the manuscript before the review process has started, [X]% of the paid amount may be refunded after deducting basic administrative charges.

4. Manuscript Withdrawn During Review
If an author withdraws the manuscript during the review process, [X]% of the paid amount may be refunded after deducting review and processing costs already incurred.

5. No Refund After Acceptance/Publication
Once a manuscript has been accepted, formatted, assigned a DOI, or published (in part or full), no refund will be issued, as editorial and production resources have already been utilized.

6. Duplicate or Excess Payment
In case of accidental duplicate payment or payment of an incorrect/excess amount for the same manuscript, the excess amount will be refunded upon verification by the editorial/accounts team.

7. Refund Process
To request a refund, authors must send a written request to editor@worldwideacademia.in, including:

  • Manuscript ID / Submission ID
  • Proof of payment (transaction ID/receipt)
  • Reason for refund request

8. Refund Timeline
Approved refunds will be processed within [X] working days from the date of approval and credited back through the original mode of payment, unless otherwise mutually agreed.

9. Non-Refundable Cases
Refunds will not be granted in the following situations:

  • The manuscript has already been published or is under final formatting/DOI assignment
  • Plagiarism, ethical misconduct, or false information is detected in the manuscript
  • The author fails to respond to review/revision requests within the given timeframe, leading to automatic withdrawal
  • Charges paid for optional services (e.g., hard copy, certificate reprint) already dispatched

10. Policy Changes
WAIRJ reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be updated on the website and will apply to future transactions.
