The aim of this study is to evaluate social determinants, healthcare access and mental health trends within different population groups.  There is also great inequality in the provision of mental healthcare. This is due to high costs of treatment, shortage of specialists, physical distance, stigma, and lack of knowledge about service provision. Moreover, demographic determinants play an important role in this situation. Secondary data analysis strategy has been used to investigate statistical reports, research evidence and published data. In this study, thematic analysis has been employed for data analysis. The four theme-based interpretations and secondary statistical evidence of the current research paper highlight that there is a significant level of mental healthcare asymmetry and care plan accessibility hurdles in various areas in India. Application of Syndemic Theory in this study has been a game-changer to portray the infrastructure gap, socioeconomic barriers, and stigma, leading to psychological or mental morbidity. In order to reduce the mental wellbeing accessibility barriers in various zones of India, the policymakers need to focus on designing anti-stigma campaigns and public awareness programmes. This suggestive idea could eventually address the national treatment gap complexity for mental morbidity.
